Working for an ethically driven mental health & wellness consumer and B2B services company that sells a wide range of products and content to consumer and businesses globally, the eCommerce Manager / eCommerce Lead / Trading Manager role will cover a broad scope, including eCommerce management and merchandising, onsite conversion rate optimisation, and eCommerce performing reporting.
They’re expanding internationally and are driving adoption of digital services, delivered via a mobile app, as well as selling complimentary products such as books and gifts.
They have millions of consumer customers and are cash positive.
This is a hybrid role, working at their central London offices 1-2 days per week.
The eCommerce Manager / eCommerce Lead / Trading Manager must:
-Project-manage on-site promotional activities including new product launches and seasonal campaigns, working closely with Operations, Marketing and Creative teams.
-Upload all new products to the website and manage the online visual merchandising
-Manage responsibility for how products and content are displayed online, ensuring all pages are SEO optimised.
-Manage and maintain operational pages
-Work with our SEO agency and take responsibility for growing our organic traffic performance
-Work closely with our stock Merchandising Manager
-Manage our online store conversion rate including to plan and execute a testing and optimisation product roadmap
-Clearly communicate hypotheses, problems & solutions, testing and reporting structures for all proposed site conversion improvements
-Work with relevant stakeholders to manage website usability, performance and improvements that will ultimately improve store conversion rate
-Work closely with Marketing to help conduct a comprehensive audit of our website traffic and develop insights for growth and highlight optimisation opportunities
Ecommerce performance reporting:
-Responsible for hitting the e-commerce store revenue targets
-Report to the business on key e-commerce metrics: revenue; conversion rate; AOV; best-selling products & categories
-Input into the ecommerce budget planning process
-Create and optimize all new Amazon product listings
-Work with Marketing and Digital Agency to drive Amazon ad performance
Candidates for the eCommerce Manager / Ecommerce Lead / Trading Manager must role must have:
-Experience as an eCommerce Manager with a transactional consumer business, across any product category, such as fashion, homeware, electronics, gifting, beauty, DIY, toys, grocery, books, entertainment, automotive, etc.
-3+ years in managing ecommerce website and merchandising management for a B2C e-com business
-You have experience managing website content with SEO best practice in mind
-High proficiency using Google Analytics (GA4) to analyse website performance and identify areas of improvement
-Experience in or comfort with a broad role, where you think strategically but also get into the detail when needed
-Comfort with data and use of data to make decisions
-Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, problem solving, creative and commercial mindset
-Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills, with experience handling large amounts of data and drawing insights to drive action
