Working for a large global household name FMCG brand, the Senior Amazon Channel Manager / Amazon Sales Manager / Senior eCommerce Manager Amazon role involves managing all sales through Amazon across the UK and Ireland.
You’ll lead all Amazon activities including GTM strategy, pricing, analysing performance, optimising promotion campaigns, brand visibility, owning the seasonal trading calendar and launching new products. You’ll work with other stakeholders across regions and internal teams and contribute significantly to the budgeting process.
This is a 12-month day rate contract role and is OUTSIDE IR35 with an immediate start. Their offices are in SW London and after an initial one-month onboarding period where you’ll go to the offices 2-3 times a week, this will relax to 2-3 times per month in the office (or more if desired).
The Senior Amazon Channel Manager / Amazon Sales Manager / Senior eCommerce Manager Amazon will:
- Adapt and deploy the 2025 strategic plan, based on local market and competitive landscape.
- Develop the 2026 Game Plan and Budget.
- Drive commercial activation, ensuring range, availability, planification and negotiation of promotional and visibility plans. Responsible for managing trade spending to deliver the plan.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and Demand Planning to prepare the monthly sales forecast. Track and actively manage sales to deliver against the plan. Prepare and explain variances.
- Manage new product phase-in / phase out with limited disruption commercially and operationally.
- Design and execute the Amazon launch in Ireland and Sweden, including trade and visibility plan
- Develop, align and execute trade plans in Amazon’s B2B channel
- Coordinate with AP/AR to ensure timely cash collection, claims management and ensure no penalties.
Candidates for the Senior Amazon Channel Manager / Amazon Sales Manager / Senior eCommerce Manager Amazon role must have:
- Strong experience driving product sales through Amazon, ideally for a product or FMCG brand, a medium or large eCommerce business or perhaps working for Amazon as a Vendor Manager.
- Highly analytical approach, continually analysing performance and sales data, driving optimisations, analysing P&L and contributing to the budgeting process.
- Ideally experience in a large global environment, managing different stakeholder relationships and working with peers in different regions to share strategies and best practice.
- Excellent communication skills to work with a variety of stakeholders and present performance figures at executive meetings.
- Be available immediately or at short notice (ideally 2 weeks max.).
