Working for a profitable and growing SAAS software vendor, this role involves joining a small product team of 4 to work across four live products at varying stages of maturity. As a senior member of the product team, you’ll help coach junior team members and work with the Product Director to introduce best practice. This is a hands-on product role with strong involvement in product strategy and the way the product team operates.
They’re a mission driven business with very strong social impact, and work with large corporates and elite education institutions.
This is a hybrid role with one day per week (Thursday) in central London, or more if desired.
The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Product Lead will:
- Help define product strategy for the next phase of growth across the product suite.
- Build a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities, to continually differentiate and grow.
- Lead the product planning process and roadmap prioritisation, ensuring alignment within the team and with wider business goals and objectives.
- Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams (engineering, design, client success & information security) to ship high-quality product features.
- Own product feature adoption measurement, recommending features to improve or deprecate.
- Manage pre-release product testing with the team to ensure smooth, bug-free deployments.
- Report bugs, identify the source of problems and iterate solutions with our developers.
- Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
Candidates for the Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Product Lead role must have:
- Strong product management experience in a high-performing, product-led SAAS or technology business.
- Full lifecycle product experience, including strategy, discovery, development, launch and in-life.
- Very strong comfort with data, constantly seeking data to discover, innovate, measure, validate and optimise.
- Happy both developing strategy and getting into the weeds.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be a fast learner, humble and curious.
- Be resilient and take feedback well.
- Be highly intelligent – both academically and interpersonally.
