eCommerce Inventory and Pricing Analyst

Working for a large consumer services eCommerce business, the Commercial Pricing Manager / Inventory Analyst / Senior eCommerce Pricing Analyst role involves driving commercial trading performance across a range of products/services, delivering continuous optimisation and results.

The Commercial Pricing Manager / Inventory Analyst / Senior eCommerce Pricing Analyst will ensure that commercial objectives are met, whilst working in collaboration with wider teams to drive customer outcomes, balancing trade-offs of short term, goals with mid and longer term needs with key Commercial stakeholders.

You’ll find innovate ways to drive performance across third party relationships and routes to market by understanding commercial levers to improve performance and compound trading results.

You’ll ultimately bring an understanding of the market, competitors and how to react from a trading pricing perspective.

This is a hybrid role, based partly from home and in central London 2 days a week.

The Commercial Pricing Manager / Inventory Analyst / Senior eCommerce Pricing Analyst will:

-Monitor and report trading outcomes through a price and proposition focused lens
-Work alongside commercial teams, defining and leading any controllable inputs to drive additional sales
-Build awareness of commercial performance with team members and leadership by making commercial performance and outcomes highly visible and transparent
-Understanding product/inventory performance holistically and identify gaps in competitive footprints
-Represent trading and commercial outcomes in required governance forums
-Work with Senior Managers to support changes to strategy where better opportunities exist or to mitigate forecasted commercial outcomes
-Report ROI from short term measures executed through controllable levers to improve conversion and sales
-Support reviews and contribution of Commercial roadmaps and their impact on trading
-Contribute to changes to content to support positioning of customer offers, promotional content, seasonal offers
-Contribute to Strategy development, aligning the Commercial roadmap with likely Trading outcomes
-Partner with Commercial Managers to balance commercial and customer needs
-Confidentially and effectively articulate initiatives and their likely commercial value

Candidates for the Commercial Pricing Manager / Inventory Analyst / Senior eCommerce Pricing Analyst role must have:

-Previous pricing, inventory analysis, or similar analytical experience in a consumer environment, such as retail, eCommerce, travel, holidays, airlines, utilities, insurance, mobile phones, telecoms, retail finance, energy, etc.
-A very analytical approach and comfort using data and insight to drive actions.
