Working for a scaling SAAS software vendor, the Product Director / Head of Product / Senior Product Manager role involves leading a small product team through a new growth phase.
You’ll be part of the Executive team and will lead the effort to evaluate opportunities and shape the product roadmap, managing stakeholder relationships and leading a team to build and deliver.
The Product Director / Head of Product / Senior Product Manager role has a big focus on shaping the environment and the way the product team works with internal teams and stakeholders, to work effectively, communicate clearly and ultimately deliver value for customers.
The Product Director / Head of Product / Senior Product Manager will:
-Be responsible for the Product direction, strategy and roadmap
-Build, lead and motivate a high-performing Product/UI/UX team
-Implement and utilise structured product management processes and governance
-Build a product management culture that balances product intuition, design innovation, market insight and validation for creating delightful experiences
-Work closely with the Founders and other internal experts to best-utilise the available knowledge whilst challenging and bringing new ideas and approaches
-Work closely with the technology team to ensure the Roadmap is consistently delivered in the most reliable and effective way
-Work with sales, marketing and customer success teams to ensure alignment with external communication in terms of target markets, go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and key benefits
-Build marketplace relationships that enable you to understand new product opportunities, and supports our Sales and Customer Success teams
Candidates for the Product Director / Head of Product / Senior Product Manager role must have:
-Strong full lifecycle product management experience in a B2B SAAS software environment.
-Experience making ‘good’ commercial decisions based on market, customer and competitor analysis, as well as strong experience prioritising a roadmap based on logical reasoning.
-Ideally experience in a small, medium or scaling environment.
-Previous experience leading a small team, including coaching and mentoring product owners and product managers.
-Strong experience creating structure and process, creating a high performing product environment.
-Very strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate logical arguments.
