We’re hiring a Strategic Data Analyst / Senior Marketing Analyst / Strategy Consultant for a fast growing UK SaaS startup, which has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands in the mobile gaming sector. They’ll be working closely with founders who have successful excited businesses in the past and are looking to scale up in 2023. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior employees at a wide variety of gaming publishers, ranging from startups trying to disrupt genres up to global market leaders
To be successful in this role, the Strategic Data Analyst / Senior Marketing Analyst / Strategy Consultant will gain a deep understanding of the data and metrics required to build multi-year forecasts by learning how they translate to successful user acquisition, retention, and monetisation. They may be required to run competitor analysis to ground the assumptions we are using, configure and run the analysis in our proprietary model whilst having the autonomy to investigate alternative methods to complement the platform and improve our output for clients.
They have a proven product market fit, are cash generative and are scaling rapidly. As an Early UK hire, you’ll benefit from equity which could bring significant value over time.
This will initially be a remote role, but they’ll be opening offices in central London in 2023, so will then be hybrid/London.
The Strategic Data Analyst / Senior Marketing Analyst / Strategy Consultant will:
Account liaison with global mobile gaming clients with whom they own a relationship with
Data review and prepping to run in their model (solid Excel skills, but will request help from our data scientists for more complex work)
Setting up the scenario simulations on the software, building offline overrides where necessary
Outputting the results into a presentation and/or required digestible format for clients
Attending pitch and client feedback sessions
Market research on competitors including target addressable market sizing, benchmarking, growth targets etc to facilitate projections
The Strategic Data Analyst / Senior Marketing Analyst / Strategy Consultant must have:
Experience in an analytical role, in the mobile gaming, mobile advertising or mobile marketing sectors.
Highly analytical and total confidence in numeracy
Very strong data understanding and analysis skills (Fluent in Excel)
Very strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
Superior written and communication skills, as comfortable and confident with complex data science topics as well as they are with commercial client-facing topics
Ideally experience with using Looker, understanding how to navigate and manipulate data, create dashboards, etc
