Working for a global leading, innovative intelligent management software company that works with enterprises in multiple industries providing sector specific solutions across the world, the Product Manager B2B SAAS / Senior Product Manager / Product Lead Software will be responsible or the overall success and ambitious growth plans of their core business solutions and drive the evolution of their proposition and cement their position as market leader.
You will be working within a team with no management responsibilities initially, and will work closely with the regional sales teams, channel partners across the globe and the R&D team to create and maintain a compelling vision and strategy.
Flexible working but will be expected to go to office once a fortnight at a minimum.
The Product Manager B2B SAAS / Senior Product Manager / Product Lead Software will:
-Drive the success / growth of the core business solutions portfolio, owning the product vision, strategy, generation plans and short-term roadmap.
-Develop, maintain and share market insight that shapes your plans and decision-making, as well as seeking inspiration for innovation from other markets.
-Manage the profitability and market performance of your portfolio, conducting win/loss analysis and proposing changes to ensure expectation are met.
-Pragmatically manage the product lifecycle, from ideation, through to business case, development, launch, functional enhancements, maintenance and even withdrawal.
-Act as Voice of the Customer internally, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to discover and analyse customer needs and shape these into clearly defined functional and non-functional requirements.
-Work closely with the Product Owners and the R&D team to ensure that headline market requirements from business cases are clearly translated and documented in sufficient detail to guide development.
Candidates for the Product Manager B2B SAAS / Senior Product Manager / Product Lead Software will have:
-5yrs+ proven ‘cradle to grave’ product management experience working in a B2B technology-based environment with Agile teams and methodologies.
-Customer-focused with significant customer facing experience and practised in evaluating priorities and managing expectations in difficult situations.
-Skilled in asking the right questions to solicit key requirements about functional as well as non-functional aspects (performance, user experience, flow).
-Proven, strong balance of commercial and technical prowess with a keen ability to assess the priority, urgency and importance of issues or challenges.
-Solid strategic planning and portfolio management experience with meticulous attention to detail.
-Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
-Keen interpersonal skills, adept at developing robust working relationships.
Desirable skills & experience:
-Experience with Jira and Confluence.
-A background in the management of both hardware (physical products) and software products.
-Experience of working with multiple channels/tiers of distribution and on an international / global basis.
-Experience of working in several different vertical markets.
-Experience in the security market.
