Working for one of the UK’s growing consumer FinTech organisations, a Head of Product / Product Lead / Senior Product Manager will help drive new product development and to deliver products that will bring true value, simplicity and functionality to give customers a better life with money.
The Head of Product / Product Lead / Senior Product Manager will own the product vision and roadmap that creates financial services experience that supports our customers financial goals, stops them getting into financial difficulties, provides help when it’s needed and is always on the side of the customer.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE LINE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE BUT WOULD LIKE A ROLE WITH LINE MANAGEMENT, THEY WILL HAPPILY TRAIN YOU.
The Head of Product / Product Lead / Senior Product Manager will lead a team of 3 PMs to start, growing to 6 in 6 months. You’ll be responsible for building out and scaling a brand-new consumer mobile app platform that genuinely will help improve people’s lives.
The Head of Product will be responsible for:
. Re-imagining the customer experiences to make complex journeys simplified.
. Bringing cutting edge tech to solve simple problems – think open banking, machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence.
. Work closely to develop a differentiated customer proposition.
. Develop a deep understanding of the needs of the audience.
. Align stakeholders, direct the product roadmap, prioritise features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with wider business.
. Foster a culture of testing, data-driven decision making, and accountability for metrics and results.
. Staying hands on – the role will come with line management of some senior / product managers but you’d still own elements of the product.
The Head of Product will have:
. Have a strong background within product management in any consumer sector, such as eCommerce, marketplaces, travel, media, fintech, entertainment, utilities, etc.
. Achieved success delivering consumer facing products that drive real user value and business financial goals.
. Leveraged both user experience and AB testing to find product/market fit.
. You create structure out of ambiguity and have a pragmatic “can do” and “make it happen” attitude in a collaborative way.
. An analytical mind and can communicate product performance through Google Analytics, SQL, Google Sheets and/or Segment etc.
. A passion for beautiful products – obsessing over simplicity, clarity, and pixel perfection.
