Senior PM – 6 month contract – £450-550 per day (Outside IR35) – Hybrid (London)
Working for a global retail business, the Contract Product Manager / Interim Product Lead / eCommerce Product Manager role involves building new Native App features and integrations to deliver new in-store click-and-collect style services. This service is advanced in the UK market, this role involves leading delivering for the US.
This is a complex global environment and you’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders across technology, commercial areas and third parties.
This is a 6 month contract initially (Outside IR35) and is hybrid/London, with 1 day per week in central London offices. There may also be very occasional travel to the US.
The Contract Product Manager / Interim Product Lead / eCommerce Product Manager will:
- Lead discovery, planning and execution of a roadmap to migrate a key App based in-premise fulfilment service within the US market.
- Build, maintain and deliver a prioritised backlog of items to improve consumer experience
- Seek customer insight and validation, partnering with design and insights teams to use test different approaches
- Identify and prioritise highest value user problems and user cases, focusing on maximum business and customer value
- Ensure all content and customer journeys are optimised for user experience, accessibility, seamlessly across all device types, and in relation to the Native App
- Co-ordinate and collaborate where feature discovery and deliver spans multiple teams
- Enable and facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Keep all stakeholders informed with status updates across the product development process
- Continuously monitor and analyse results to feed back into product discovery
Candidates for the Contract Product Manager / Interim Product Lead / eCommerce Product Manager role must have:
- Strong product management experience in a large scale, ideally global, transactional B2C / consumer environment, such as eCommerce, retail, travel, hospitality, hotels, entertainment, or similar.
- Experience navigating complex global environments, with a range of commercial, technical and third party stakeholders.
- Ideally experience building and optimising consumer experiences across digital (web & Native App) and physical, such as click and collect, food ordering, in-restaurant bill payment using web/app, or similar.
- Very strong communication and influencing skills, to manage relationships and with key knowledge holders across the business and externally.
- Experience across web and native apps.
- A commercial mindset , developing products and features that balance commercial and customer outcomes.
- A ruthless prioritiser, managing product backlog and day-to-day tasks
- Evidence-based in decision-making and communication
- Strong data analysis and interpretation
- Experience working with agile software development processes, taking a ship/learn/iterate approach
