Intelligent People are delighted to be continuing our support for Women in Product London’s work to promote gender equality in Product Management, by sponsoring the second event in their Career Hack Series.

The event details

This event, sponsored by River Island and Intelligent People, will feature advice from a high-flying panel of product experts on how they built their careers in product management and how they’ve overcome challenges along the way to achieving success both personally and professionally.

The panel Q&A will be an opportunity to share stories and explore the many different paths to progress as a product leader, with plenty of time for networking over drinks and canapés.

Two panellists have been announced so far:

Jo Wickremasinghe, Product Director at Babylon Health
Jo has 20 years’ experience across digital and technology and has led a number of product teams at News UK, Which?, Microsoft and the BBC.

Born and raised in Australia, Jo started her career as an Aerospace Engineer, moving to the UK in 1998. She first got into tech in 2000, joining MSN during the first dotcom bubble and is currently Product Director at Babylon Health, working towards making healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone globally.

Michele Swaine, Head of Product – Loyalty, Financial Services & In Store Experiences at Sainsbury’s Digital
Michele has worked in Digital for 20 years and has led the design of products that are interacted with by millions of people.  If you’ve used Sky+, Sky Go, Sky Store; bought a lottery ticket digitally, or checked your results online; or shopped in Sainsbury’s … then you’ve interacted with one of the products she and her team have carefully designed for you.
