We have been retained by a rapidly scaling FinTech to hire their next Chief Product Officer.
Having successfully secured 2 rounds of funding and made several strategic acquisitions our Client is poised to raise a further round of funding in Q1 2022, enabling them to rapidly scale from 200 to 500 employees, enter new markets and make further key acquisitions.
The Chief Product Officer will report to the CEO and be part of a dynamic, diverse “C” team that drive the business to potential Unicorn status over the next 3 years and cement their position as the leading facilitator of low cost payments to Emerging Markets.
The Chief Product Officer will:
·Ideate and execute the product strategy
·Build a world class product team, including Heads of various product lines
·Speak with investors, at conferences, forum and to the media and be seen to be the voice of the Co where appropriate
·Work with the C team to ensure the product delivers the Co strategy
·Work with key, enterprise Clients & Banks to ensure the product is best-in-class and the de facto solution to low cost international payment and FX
·Advise on acquisition strategy and integrate acquired product sets
·Build business cases for new product initiatives with a keen focus on market & opportunity sizing
The Chief Product Officer must have:
·Experience building and leading world class product teams
·Experience with Financial Services, ideally related to FX, international payments or treasury
·Outstanding stakeholder & client management skills
·Experience building APIs
·Gravitas and be comfortable working with ambiguity
Candidates with a combination of the above will be welcomed, as will applications from candidates with a Consulting background on the proviso they have real life delivery experience at Cheif Product Officcer level.
