UI Product Designer (D2C) – Global Entertainment Leader – 6 month contract – £467 per day (Outside IR35) – Hybrid (2 days, London)

We are recruiting a UI Product Designer (D2C) / User Interface Product Designer for a leading global company in the entertainment sector. With a presence across multiple countries and a portfolio that includes iconic venues, innovative ticketing solutions, and award-winning productions, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of digital experiences at scale.

We’re looking for a UI Product Designer with strong design system expertise and broader product design skills. You will play a key part in evolving and managing design systems for their products, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user experiences across both web and native apps. This is not a pure UI role — it’s about creating cohesive, user-friendly interfaces and ensuring consistency across the platform.

This is a full-time, contract role based in their zone 1 London office 2 days per week, reporting to the Head of Product Design.

Key Responsibilities:
•Evolve and manage the company’s design system to create scalable, modern systems that align with various brand identities.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product teams, to maintain and expand the design system.
•Ensure products meet accessibility, localisation, and brand standards.
•Support documentation and guidelines for the design system, promoting best practices across the team.
•Continuously optimise UI and design system through testing and data-driven insights.
•Manage senior stakeholder relationships, delivering clear insights and recommendations.

Required Experience:
•You must have worked for a very large well-known consumer brand e.g. Trivago, Hotels.com, Booking.com.
•Proven experience building and launching design systems, with a deep understanding of interaction design principles and accessibility.
•Previous collaboration within design teams, product, and engineering departments.
•Experience with responsive web and native app design, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
•Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Tokens Studio, Github, and Confluence.
•Up to date with the latest guidelines.
