Senior Product Manager SAAS / B2B SAAS Product Lead
Working for a rapidly scaling SAAS software business that’s taken on over £100m in funding and dominates a niche market globally, the Senior Product Manager SAAS / B2B SAAS Product Lead role involves leading the roadmap development and execution for a critical and high-profile part of their product suite. They have a proven product market fit and are going into a scaling phase as they acquire and delight more global enterprise customers. There’s huge scope to take the product/platform into new areas.
The Senior Product Manager SAAS / B2B SAAS Product Lead is a full lifecycle product role where you’ll work to understand customer needs, develop business cases for new products/functionality that creates value for the customer and lead an Agile Squad to execute the roadmap. The team are coming out of start-up phase and they need someone to bring more (positive) structure and process to optimise the tech that’s developed. You’ll also directly manage a Product Analyst who can help with research and testing.
They have a diverse global team and you will be remotely (UK) based, with meet-up time periodically when safe to do so.
The Senior Product Manager SAAS / B2B SAAS Product Lead will:
-Develop the strategy and roadmap for a successful product that has huge potential for further development and expansion.
-Work in a cross-functional global team, working closely with the other PMs to understand and design the elements of cross application solutions, capture customer and partner requirements and translate them into effective product improvements as a prioritized backlog, and eventually new releases.
-Listen to existing and future customers and partners to thoroughly understand their problems and desires when using the platform.
-Build a business case to justify new investments of time & resources and communicate this to a wide range of stakeholders (from individual contributors to executives).
-Work tightly with User Experience Design, Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure that customer experience is at the heart of every product decision.
-Partner with your dedicated engineering team of 6 to deliver high quality products on time.
-Coordinate go-to-market activities with Marketing, Services, Support and Sales teams.
-Support the strategic architectural shifts in the platform in collaboration with engineering.
-Keep an eye on industry trends, competitors and potential partners to create opportunities for existing and new products Instrument your product to track key metrics and data to understand adoption and measure engagement.
-Collaborate equally well in a mixed, distributed environment.
Candidate for the Senior Product Manager SAAS / B2B SAAS Product Lead role must have:
-Strong B2B SAAS Product management experience
-Full lifecycle experience from customer and market analysis & developing business cases to development, delivery and in-life.
-Any experience in a regulated industry is an advantage but not essential – eg finance, HR tech, workforce management, tax, payroll software, accountancy, insuretech, fintech, banking, investments, etc.
-Experience leading a high performing squad, developing and implementing product management structure and process.
