Working for a high profile B2B scaleup that’s transforming the way life science laboratories operate at scale with hugely innovative and cost-effective hardware and software platforms, the Head of Product Strategy & Growth / Product Director / Head of Product Management role involves identifying the most commercially attractive applications for their technology, to then shape and package solutions that deliver most value for customers.
This is a hyper commercial role that involves analysing the market and customer needs, developing business cases to make the right product investments.
After several high profile and game changing implementations they’ve attracted significant investor interest, and recently took on a large investment to scale their operations. This role involves identifying the best applications for their technology.
This is a hybrid role with ideally 2-3 days per week at their London offices.
The Head of Product Strategy & Growth / Product Director / Head of Product Management will:
-Identify key markets and applications for the technology in the life sciences sector
-Crystalise root cause blockers to adoption and drive innovation in the product to remove them
-Own the go-to-market strategy and messaging to drive adoption of those solutions
-Drive iteration of the business model to improve adoption
-Develop strategic relationships with ecosystem partners that improve the service offering and develop innovative solutions
Candidates for the Head of Product Strategy & Growth / Product Director / Head of Product Management role must have:
-Strong commercial product management, product strategy, product marketing, proposition development or strategy consulting experience with exposure to life sciences, pharmatech, medical software, medical diagnostics, oncology, genomics, drug or medicine development, or similar (ideally an understanding of processes/workflows in laboratories).
-Experience of B2B SAAS or enterprise software is desirable.
-Experience taking new product to market.
-A very commercial mindset, ability to analyse customer needs and uncover solutions to customer problems.
-Strong experience developing business cases.
-Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to influence.
