Working for a large global B2B product brand which that sells to SMBs, mid-market and enterprise, the Head of B2B Growth Marketing / Digital Growth and Performance Lead / Head of Digital Marketing role involves fixing and driving digital performance marketing performance before looking at wider growth levers, such as content marketing, customer marketing, partnerships, etc.

 

The company is nearly 100 years old and, following a series of acquisitions, are entering a transformation of their marketing, data and digital capability. This key role involves driving the performance of full funnel lead acquisition and conversion in the short term (executing through agencies) while the wider transformation takes place.

 

This role will require 1 day per week in London and 1 day per 2 weeks in their West Midlands office. The role is officially home-based, so any travel or accommodation will be covered.

 

The Head of B2B Growth Marketing / Digital Growth and Performance Lead / Head of Digital Marketing will:

  • Support consolidation from 10 to 3 websites.
  • Manage 1 person plus agencies – paid and SEO.
  • Manage external agency to drive and optimize top of funnel traffic.
  • Review and optimize all web properties for customer journey optimization and content web content.
  • Launch new products, including web content.
  • Oversee organic search, working with specialist agency.
  • Objective – it’s all about lead generation, targeting customers, and full funnel conversion of leads to pass to sales teams.

 

Candidates for the Head of B2B Growth Marketing / Digital Growth and Performance Lead / Head of Digital Marketing role must have:

  • Strong full funnel marketing experience in any B2B sector with advanced marketing environments e.g. software, IT services, telecoms, and professional services.
  • Experience in large complex environments e.g. enterprises.
  • Experience across performance marketing / paid channels, organic search / SEO, onsite optimization / CRO / customer journey and web content.
  • Strong with data / use of data.
  • Strategic, but close to the detail as and when needed in fast-paced environment.
