Data Product Manager / Senior Product Owner / Data Proposition Manager
Data Product Manager / Senior Product Owner / Data Proposition Manager needed by a market leading, rapidly growing PropTech company who have are very established and well funded, with a broad portfolio of products across the whole residential and commercial property lifecycle. Much of their business is B2B2C where the impact on the consumer is significant, but ultimately these are data led products for sectors of the B2B property ecosystem.
The Data Product Manager / Senior Product Owner / Data Proposition Manager is a critical role in a specialist data integration team, that will help to link up their range of services and shape new solutions that will deliver even more value for customers, and ultimately remove the pain from property transactions. They have an incredible data science team who use Machine Learning and AI to draw incredible insights from a huge amount of date – this role involves commercialising that data.
This role can be based pretty much anywhere in the UK, with some time based in a regional office.
The Data Product Manager / Senior Product Owner / Data Proposition Manager will:
-Working closely with key stakeholders and with technical teams to identify opportunities and business cases to commercialise and monetise a huge and diverse amount of proptech data, across the entire property ecosystem.
-Collaboration with data architects and the data engineering team along with the technical business analyst to define the technical solution and do the technical QA of that solution as part of the delivery process
-Work in a fast-paced agile environment to own, maintain, update, and prioritize the data product roadmap, backlog and features
-Develop outcome focussed measures of success and acceptance criteria for each major initiative or new data product
-Communicate roadmap, vision, achievements, and progress to the wider team and to stakeholders
Candidates for the Data Product Manager / Senior Product Owner / Data Proposition Manager role must have:
-Strong commercial product management experience, where you’ve help to understand commercial opportunities and monetise data.
-Strong comfort with data heavy products/environments – eg business intelligence, consumer data, research data, market information, financial information, etc.
-Full product lifecycle experience, from business case to in-life
-Ability to write and deliver business cases and supporting documentation
-Ability to manage a multi-product roadmap
-Experience of AI & machine learning is desirable but not essential
-Experience of product portfolio integration across multiple divisions is desirable
-Ideally experience working with external customers
-Strong commercial awareness and influencing skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Applied Scaled Agile experience would be an advantage
