Working for a technology and services business that provides a range of services to small and micro businesses, the Senior Customer Marketing Manager / Senior CRM Manager / Lifecycle Marketing Manager role involves leading all customer marketing activities to convert new customers and increase lifetime value throughout the relationship lifecycle.

 

This is a senior IC role that involves setting the strategy, but also being very hands on, working with other teams across the business.  It’s a very fast paced environment where you’ll be able to work at pace and make an impact quickly, where new ideas are welcome and success rewarded.

 

The Senior Customer Marketing Manager / Senior CRM Manager / Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in central London.

 

The Senior Customer Marketing Manager / Senior CRM Manager / Lifecycle Marketing Manager will:

  • Plan and execute all outbound communications across SMS and email.
  • Develop campaign and messaging strategies to drive brand awareness.
  • Own the roadmap for all lifecycle marketing.
  • Work with a range of internal teams and stakeholders across content, marketing, business unit leaders, etc.
  • Lead customer segmentation and campaign planning work, and all post-campaign analysis. There is a separate data team than can support as needed.
  • Become the subject expert with CRM/marketing platforms and tools, including HubSpot, Mailjet and others. Make recommendations for the best platforms and technology to use.

 

Candidates for the Senior Customer Marketing Manager / Senior CRM Manager / Lifecycle Marketing Manager role must have:

  • Strong experience of customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing across email and ideally SMS.
  • Ideally experience targeting small businesses / micro businesses with any business service (e.g. payment processing), product or software, but SMBs or consumer marketing would be OK.
  • Candidates with D2C experience may have worked in utilities, price comparison, marketplaces, telecoms, mobile tariffs or similar.
  • Strong experience setting CRM strategy and also comfort executing hands-on.
  • Experience using and configuring HubSpot.
  • A strong data focus and comfort using data to target and optimise campaigns.
