We are looking for a Product Manager / Product Owner needed by a rapidly growing EnviroTech / Tech4Good organisation who provide DNA-based tooling and environmental impact assessments which help to improve the biodiversity especially amongst endangered species.
The Product Manager / Product Owner will have full autonomy and ownership ideating and constructing a brand-new SaaS platform which helps clients by providing them with a digital platform to review DNA and environmental studies. The role will be supported by the in-house science team and will look to scale their varied DNA and environmental testing offerings over time.
Salary: £50-60k
Location: Guildford (Hybrid: 2 days per week)
The Product Manager / Product Owner will be client facing, understanding the needs of users, and working cross-functionally with Marketing and Business Development to grow the commercial strategy and pricing for the SaaS platform.
The Product Manager / Product Owner will:
– Work to ideate and build a new scalable SaaS platform.
– Be client-facing and work alongside the business development team to create user stories.
– Work closely with internal science and data teams to create new insights / metrics.
– Drive product strategy to align with stakeholders, business lines and external stakeholders.
– Work alongside a UX Designer to design creative and intuitive ideas for customers using the SaaS platform.
The Product Manager / Product Owner must have:
– Previous experience as a product manager working on complex internal or SAAS platforms.
– Ability to think strategically, but also be hands-on.
– A data-driven and problem-solving mindset .
– Be customer obsessive by hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration.
