Procurement Consultant / Procurement Manager | £320-350 /day (Outside IR35) | Tech4Good | Southeast England
A talented Procurement Consultant / Procurement Manager is needed by a PE backed Tech4Good who provide wearable tech & tablet-based solutions to the care sector, all of which are designed to help people who are ageing to continue to live an independent life whilst ensuring help is always at hand.
The Procurement Consultant / Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of components needed for IoT medical devices, and ensuring cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services.
Rate: £320-350 per day, 6-month duration
Home Based: Southeast England (will need to be able to travel to offices in South of England & East Anglia)
As Procurement Consultant / Procurement Manager, you will:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including RFQs, contract negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.
- Source reliable vendors for telecare (e.g., wearable monitors, emergency response devices), hardware, software platforms, and related services at large scale and high volume.
- Analyse market trends, conduct cost analyses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, IT, Legal, and Operations to define technical specifications and procurement needs.
Candidates will need strong experience in procurement, ideally in electronics, IoT, HeathTech, or similar, including knowledge of quality and compliance standards. Proficiency with procurement software (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) is required.
