AdTech & Monetisation Director | Sports Media | £900-1,000 per day (Outside IR35) | 3-Month Contract | London (Hybrid) | JA9826
A leading sports media and technology business is looking for a talented AdTech & Monetisation Director / Media Technology Director to design and launch a new in-house advertising and monetisation capability.
This is a hands-on strategic role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for helping the business evolve from enabling advertising value through new technology. The business operates across the sports broadcast and streaming ecosystem, working within major sporting clubs internationally delivering digital advertising solutions around live sports coverage.
Contract: 3 months (with a likelihood of extension)
Location: Covent Garden, London (hybrid, 2–3 days in-office)
Day Rate: £900-1,000 OutsideIR35
The AdTech & Monetisation Director / Media Technology Director will lead the strategy, market review and implementation planning for a new monetisation function spanning audience data, programmatic infrastructure, agency sales enablement and partnerships.
The AdTech & Monetisation Director / Media Technology Director will:
- Define the monetisation strategy and roadmap
- Lead a build / buy / partner review across the adtech ecosystem
- Design the target operating model and commercial approach for monetising audiences and inventory
- Build the implementation plan, including vendor selection and investment case
The AdTech & Monetisation Director / Media Technology Director must have:
- Strong AdTech and/or publisher monetisation experience, ideally within sports, media, streaming, broadcast or premium content environments
- Background in TMT / media environments
- A track record of building or scaling monetisation capabilities
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
