We’re Intelligent People Ltd and we’re on the hunt for a bright, hungry and articulate Recruitment Consultant / Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager to join the team based in our brand spanking new office in St Albans. We specialise in helping digital companies, tech start-ups & software businesses find top talent across digital product management, marketing & ecommerce – a really exciting space to work in.

We know a lot of companies say this, but we do things differently here. We promote autonomy & work life balance whilst giving you the tools and support for success. What we DON’T have are call time KPIs, power hours & cut-throat performance metrics…and we certainly don’t micro-manage. The Recruitment Consultant / Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager will:

-Develop their own portfolio of clients from scratch, running the recruitment process end to end

-Account manage all your own clients, building relationships and delivering excellent service across the board

-Learn and develop your sales, influencing and negotiation skills to make you more effective

-Conduct your own business development activity to uncover leads and roles

-Be expected to fill your own roles on a monthly basis, running a 360-recruitment desk (once through training and probation)

-Work on mid-senior level positions in a fast growing market where you’ll engage with senior executives on a daily basis

-Work autonomously to build your own brand & mini-business

The Recruitment Consultant / Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager must ideally have:

-Excellent communication skills – you’re articulate, have energy and can easily engage people over the phone and in person

-1+ years commercial experience, ideally within sales and/or business development

-A competitive spirit – you thrive on a challenge and don’t rest on your laurels

-A degree education

-Self-discipline and the ability to think on your feet
