Working for a rapidly scaling and high-profile tech company who have just raised another round of funding, the Senior Sales Operations Manager / Sales Effectiveness Manager / Sales Operations Analyst – B2B SAAS is a new role that will bring clarity to sales performance and help to drive commercial outcomes across the sales and customer management teams.
This opportunity involves building and shaping a new capability within a B2B technology sales environment to bring clarity, optimise sales & sales funnel effectiveness and drive up/cross sell optimisation to drive growth in the UK and new global territories.
The role is initially stand alone but will involve building a small team over time.
The Senior Sales Operations Manager / Sales Effectiveness Manager / Sales Operations Analyst – B2B SAAS will:
-Drive operational decisions and improvements in sales processes and translate those processes into an effective and scalable infrastructure.
-Create and execute a Sales Operations Roadmap which includes multiple projects, programmes and initiatives to drive growth.
-Administer sales quotas, quota attainment, compensation plans, program rules, policies, and procedures.
-Develop CRM (Hubspot) automation to create automated triggers for both cross and upsell.
-Drive adherence to sales processes.
-Train and develop existing and new staff in sales processes and use of sales tools such as Hubspot, Gong and Intercom.
-Support sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
-Document, maintain and evangelise best practices, playbooks and operational workflow diagrams.
-Deliver insight to sales enablement and other commercial teams.
-Act as data champion, driving accuracy of prospect and customer data. Act as the guardian of the sales information in Hubspot, ensuring consistency of input from the sales teams and validity of data.
-Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on all aspects of the commercial function including pipeline analysis, future forecasting, revenue, commission reporting, CRM data quality, etc.
-Conduct market analysis to identify potential growth opportunities in new and existing markets.
Candidates for the Senior Sales Operations Manager / Sales Effectiveness Manager / Sales Operations Analyst – B2B SAAS role must have:
-Previous experience in a Sales Operations or Sales Effectiveness Effectiveness role in a B2B SAAS or Tech environment.
-Ideally experience with a start-up or scale-up organisation.
-A very commercial mindset, who can see the angles and spot the problems/opportunities.
-Strong comfort with data, highly numerate, use of data to generate insight.
-Experience of CRM, Sales Funnel and marketing automation tech, ideally Hubspot or similar.
-Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience, although support can be given if this is a development area.
-The role would suit someone who has managed small teams or someone who is keen to step up into a leadership position over time.
The role will be home based initially and then 2 days per week in the central London office when safe to do so (or more if desired).
