We’re partnering with an award-winning Tech for Good business, scaling a mobile first financial product across Africa and looking for a Senior Product Manager – Digital Payments and Credit to lead the product vision and roadmap execution.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Product Manager, from a financial services business, with exposure to the development of backend services, API’s and core business logic which power internal tools and customer facing features. You’ll build the digital product roadmap which allows the commercial credit and lending proposition to be taken to the consumer.

The role represents an opportunity to build a truly disruptive product, positively impacting people’s lives and ability to make progressive steps forward financially. The position will be based remotely in the UK with travel to Africa several times a year. It will require experience of working with backend services which power financial products.

The responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager – Digital Payments and Credit will include:

*Own every aspect of the backend product capability which powers the digital payment and credit product
*You’ll own the Product Vision, Roadmap development and delivery
*Work with business stakeholders and consumers to identify the big ideas and distil into the roadmap
*Work with the internal team to develop the backlog and prioritise, clarifying relevant trade-offs
*Manage the product to achieve goals and hit feature launch timelines

The Senior Product Manager Digital Payments and Credit will require prior experience within a product manager role responsible for a digital lending, credit or Fintech product. You’ll have worked within Agile product teams collaborating with Engineering during the development cycle. You will be as comfortable communicating product vision as you are writing feature specifications in user stories along with acceptance criteria. You will be happy leading by example, modeling product management best practice for the product team and business.
