An SEO Manager / Search Marketing Manager / SEM Manager is required by a well-known Fintech organisation. The role will report directly in to the Global Head of Performance Marketing and will have responsibility for creating the SEO strategy to grow our business globally through increasing traffic through organic search.
The SEO Manager / Search Marketing Manager / SEM Manager will plan and execute optimisation methods, and test new initiatives to improve their search rankings.
There is lots of opportunity for the SEO Manager / Search Marketing Manager / SEM Manager position to expand into the conversion rate optimisation space, supporting the business with driving higher sales through site improvements.
The SEO Manager / Search Marketing Manager / SEM will be responsible for:
*Defining and implementing the global approach to SEO
*Conducting local audits to inform on SEO prioritisation
*Ongoing planning, testing and execution of search engine optimisation for the website and mobile platforms (including app optimisation)
*Developing KPIs and reporting on SEO effectiveness and its contribution to growth (both search engine visibility and traffic/conversion)
*Managing conversion tracking and analysis through a web analytics tool (Google Analytics)
*Ensuring SEO is considered through all marketing and product plans including product development, new initiatives and the content strategy
*Reviewing competitor sites, and keep up to date with best practice and current keyword trends, and seek out new testing opportunities with Google
*Working with senior stakeholders in the business and providing insight on techniques and campaigns
The SEO Manager / Search Marketing Manager / SEM Manager must have:
*A successful track record of implementing SEO in a global environment, with a positive impact on traffic and revenue
*A strong understanding of the commercial impact of SEO
*In depth knowledge of SEO, especially from a technical perspective
*Experience in using SEO tools (e.g. Moz) and analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
*Experience working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
The successful candidate will ideally be analytically minded with an understanding of conversion rate optimisation – both from website performance and marketing initiatives.

The head of performance marketing is not an SEO leader by trade and this role will have considerable autonomy with regards to the decision making process for the business with regards to SEO.
