I’m looking for a Head of Product / Product Lead / Principal Product Manager for a UK tech business that is revolutionising how the nation feeds itself using AI and ML; they need someone who can bring best in class tech and product development strategies to build and develop their supply chain and warehousing operations.
The Head of Product / Product Lead / Principal Product Manager will help build more customer choice, more delivery options and lower lead times in an aim to offer 1000s of fresh meals and same day delivery.
The Head of Product / Product Director / Product Lead will be responsible the product and tech strategy deployed as the business scales across the UK and Europe. There will be challenges around the opening and linking of new warehouse and operational hubs; operational efficiency and excellence and the optimisation of a first-class delivery network.
The Head of Product / Product Director / Product Lead will be responsible for:
. Build world-class supply chain capabilities.
. Leading cross functional teams
. Developing a team of great product managers
. Focussing on building products to help the business scale at pace.
The Head of Product / Product Director / Product Lead will have
. Demonstrable product management experience integrating tech with ‘real world’ operational teams or supply chain, such as logistics, delivery, warehousing, food delivery, travel, ecommerce, etc.
. Experience mentoring and developing successful product management teams
. Experience working in a fast paced, high growth, technology focussed organisation.
. Obsessively use data to drive product decisions
. Excellent communication skills to a range of stakeholders
This is the sort of role that the owner will be standing up at a TED talk presenting on in a few years, talking about how they changed the way the world ate their meals at home.
