A new opportunity has opened up to join an incredible multi-site venue organization with over 5 million visitors per year, who sell a broad range of high quality merchandise across a number of product categories.
As the Ecommerce Trading Manager / Online Trading Manager / Ecommerce Marketing Manager you’ll have the opportunity to control a small team and be responsible for the digital eCommerce storytelling and lead strategies across all eCommerce touchpoints.
This is a broad role where you’ll fully manage a successful eCommerce site, working with the marketing, brand, content and fulfillment teams to understand the customer, drive traffic and optimize the customer experience.
With impressive growth plans, they’re looking for an expert to own and drive the eCommerce Trading channel. You will be finding ways to create a joined-up customer approach, looking through a customer lens to suggest opportunities for a seamless experience. You will be expected to drive revenue growth and optimise the website to increase onsite conversion whilst being the voice of digital across the wider business.
The Ecommerce Trading Manager / Online Trading Manager / Ecommerce Marketing Manager will:
*Work closely with the central marketing team, social media team and CRM team to deliver sales plan and brand objectives.
*To ensure that all information and imagery is in keeping with the legal requirements and brand guidelines and leaves a memorable impression on the consumer.
*To develop and manage a marketing and trading plan for the business, including home page plans, emails, promotions, link management and online product launches.
*Work with other departments to manage site activity and content and ensure it is in line with broader business plans.
*In conjunction with the Buying and Merchandising team, agree the online range plan, product themes and direction of photography. Oversee the photography management.
*Work with the warehouse/fulfillment teams to deliver excellent customer service.
*Manage the fulfilment and service experience of all consumer orders via the Ecommerce Customer Service Assistant.
*Manage and develop the ecommerce team.
*Work with the Systems development team to identify, plan and deliver online shop enhancements.
*Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by your manager.
The Ecommerce Trading Manager / Online Trading Manager / Ecommerce Marketing Manager must have:
*Strong eCommerce trading and marketing experience from any product category, such as homeware, electronics, Sport & Leisure, fashion, jewellery, shoes, beauty products, automotive, gifts, travel, entertainment, tickets, hotels, airlines, etc.
*A good understanding of online optimization, funnel conversion and merchandising
*Understanding of Google Analytics
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
*Strong analytical and commercial approach – able to take insights from digital platforms and report, present and propose future strategies
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Strong negotiating and influencing skills
*Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
*A commercially driven mindset with customer needs always at the core of your work
*Experience building and leading a team
*Strong Excel & analytical skills are essential
*The desire to thrive in a fast-paced and scaling environment, and can work in a collaborative team
