Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Proposition Manager needed by fast scaling B2B software vendor who work in a niche finance area and have just raised another huge tranche of funding from high profile VCs.
The Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Proposition Manager will work closely with customers and analyse market opportunities to create, pilot, test and launch new software products around the core offering to tier 1 banks, as well as small and medium fintech and payments brands.
The Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Proposition Manager is a hands-on delivery role, leading a matrix team to bring new innovations to market.
The Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Proposition Manager will be highly visible internally, with customers, partners and with VC investors. The business will rapidly grow from 200 to 400 staff and there will be opportunities to quickly take on more responsibility.
The Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Proposition Manager will:
-Identify, uncover and understand key customer needs in our new Product opportunities, leveraging new technologies such as AI and machine learning.
-Shape the strategy, vision and success of new product initiatives.
-Develop, present and gain support for new product business cases, based on sound commercial reasoning, often taking risks to break new ground.
-Take new products through the full development lifecycle to prove or kill new initiatives.
-Roll scalable products int a BAU team before moving to the next opportunity.
-Work on multiple concurrent workstreams.
-Manage and influence key internal & external stakeholders, investors, partners and customers.
-Articulate business cases using clear logical reasoning, being honest about risks and risk mitigation.
-Work in a fast-paced agile environment.
Candidates for the Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Proposition Manager role must have:
-Previous experience of product innovation, developing and evaluating new ideas, customer needs analysis, market/competitor analysis and opportunities presented by emerging technology.
-Full product lifecycle experience, taking B2B software products from new idea to market.
-First class communication skills, especially ability to engage and have credibility with Tier 1 banks.
-Strong commercial and influencing skills.
-Ideally, strong academic background with a red brick degree.
