London, £50-£55k plus bonus and benefits.


Working for a leading, profitable and well-funded online consumer services organization with a number of high profile brands, this “green field” XXX role involves leading a team of 2 to set up CRM marketing to optimize the customer loyalty and engagement of millions of consumers.


The Online CRM Marketing Manager / Database Marketing Manager / Customer Loyalty Manager will:


•             Lead the eCRM strategy for the business across all consumer brands as well as a trade facing brand.

•             Understand the main consumer touch points throughout the customer journey and introduce automation and trigger campaigns

•             Lead data segmentation work and develop a data driven approach to all campaigns, championing the customer experience.

•             Manage and oversee the execution of email and database marketing campaigns

•             Ensure CRM targets are met effectively against the agreed objectives and strategy

•             Work closely with the brand and trade teams to ensure CRM strategy is aligned with brand and trade strategy

•             Set creative direction for agencies including campaign objectives, promotions and messaging

•             Lead development of ongoing communications and segment data for optimum targeting

•             Identify database marketing opportunities

•             Take responsibility for post campaign analysis to fully understand ROI

•             Help to drive social CRM marketing and social media marketing.


Candidates for the Online CRM Marketing Manager / Database Marketing Manager / Customer Loyalty Manager role must have strong eCRM marketing experience in ANY mass consumer environment (retail, media, subscriptions, travel, gaming, retail finance, telco).  Candidates will either have previous people management experience or be ready to take the step into team leadership.  Strong analytical skills are important to lead segmentation work, pre-campaign planning and post campaign analysis.  Experience of automated trigger campaigns is an advantage.
