Mobile Product Manager / Digital Product Manager / mCommerce Product Manager needed to drive forward the success of the websites for one of the UK's largest newspapers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Product Manager / Digital Product Manager / mCommerce Product Manager to manage the ongoing development of the client's mobile offering, which currently consists of a growing portfolio of mobile apps and sites.
The Mobile Product Manager / Digital Product Manager / mCommerce Product Manager will be responsible for:
*Shaping and delivering the roadmap for mobile products - apps and mobile sites
*Project management & coordination of the delivery of new mobile products and services, including organising, developing and maintaining internal stakeholder relationships
*Deliver innovative mobile products to meet agreed commercial objectives
*Identify market opportunities, plan and execute new product development from conceptual stages through the full product lifecycle
*Writing technical requirements for the development team
*Resolving day to day issues with products' performance (bugs, risks etc.)
The Mobile Product Manager / Digital Product Manager / mCommerce Product Manager must:
*Have a proven track record in successful mobile and app based product development, owning and introducing this into the business
*Have demonstrable hands-on experience in product management in a B2C environment (ideally online publishing or content)
*Have experience of working within an Agile environment, writing user stories etc.
*Be knowledgeable in Responsive Design, and be able to run through the pro's and con's of it, as well as the pro's and con's of HTML5 vs native app development
*Have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
