Working for one of the world's largest eCommerce retailers, the Senior eCommerce Operations Manager / Solutions Architect - eCommerce / Digital Project Manager role involves working as part of team that helps organisations set up eCommerce functionality. This can involve pre-sales consultancy, fulfilment management, financial services support, customer services support, software services etc.
The Senior eCommerce Operations Manager / Solutions Architect - eCommerce / Digital Project Manager will:
" Understand eCommerce solutions and how to provide clients with the capabilities to function as an eCommerce business
" Attend client workshops and capture key questions, answers and actions.
" Advise clients on eCommerce solutions and helping deliver these solutions through relevant partners
" Attend project and team meetings to organise regular project check-ins and ensure that these are preceded by agendas and followed-up with minutes.
" Maintain a project plan that tracks progress, work streams, milestones and deliverables.
" Capture issues as identified and maintain an issue tracking system, working with the stakeholders to ensure issues are prioritised and resourced.
" Talk to customers by phone to check progress, identify issues and initiate actions to maintain progress.
Candidates for the Senior eCommerce Operations Manager / Solutions Architect - eCommerce / Digital Project Manager role will:
" Have worked in a high-tech, ideally eCommerce organisation.
" Be intelligent, fast learning, able to grasp acronyms quickly, have excellent numeracy and literacy and be excellent communicators (verbal and written).
" Be able to quickly understand Merchants infrastructure and capabilities, assessing existing web tools and making recommendations on where Merchants have specific needs as regards operating as a fully functioning eCommerce business
" Have experience of managing complex eCommerce led projects
" Have experience of selling, implementing & managing eCommerce processes, technologies and supply chain management
Suitable backgrounds will include eCommerce consultants, Project Managers, Solutions Architects, Business Development Managers - the ability to advise on and sell bespoke solutions within an eCommerce environment and understanding of how eCommerce organisations operate is key.
