Head of Marketing / Head of Online Marketing / Head of Digital Marketing
Head of Marketing / Head of Online Marketing / Head of Digital Marketing required for a market leading Online Media company.
The Head of Marketing / Head of Online Marketing / Head of Digital Marketing is a newly created role to assist in leading the fast-paced Marketing team, as well as building relationships across the Sales and Content teams. It will focus on creating innovative marketing strategies alongside the CMO and will take responsibility for all customer acquisition, CRM, brand, product development and communications. You will be responsible for and primarily measured on driving increased visitor levels and revenue to the site.
The Head of Marketing / Head of Online Marketing / Head of Digital Marketing will:
*Report directly into the Chief Marketing Officer and be hands on in driving the UK Marketing Strategy forward.
*Lead the team responsible for all customer acquisition, CRM, brand and product development activity.
*Refine, own and manage all the customer relationship activities, both on and off-site, driving testing and segmentation of these activities to increase customer retention and sales.
*Create seasonal marketing campaigns across Web, Mobile and Tablet devices.
*Use Web Analytics and Business Intelligence to improve profitability.
*Work with a variety of teams including Design, Editorial and sales as well as with Finance and the board to develop Marketing budgets and forecasts to drive growth.
*Identify and shape a differentiated brand positioning.
*Manage 3rd party relationships with Paid Search agencies and analytics suppliers.
The Head of Marketing / Head of Online Marketing / Head of Digital Marketing must have:
*Previous experience as a Senior Online Marketer for an Online business.
*A proven record of driving revenue by improving Online customer experience.
*Be a strong strategic and creative thinker with proven success in changing consumer behaviour.
*An analytical mind with a demonstrable track record of achieving company growth objectives through making data led decisions.
*Extensive knowledge of the effectiveness of Online Marketing tools including Email, Social Media, PPC, Display, SEO, Affiliate, CRM and Web Analytics.
