eCommerce Category Manager / Online Merchandising Manager / Web Trading Manager required for global games and entertainment company to manage their games category range (EMEA/ANZ) through several eCommerce and digital sales channels.
The eCommerce Category Manager / Online Merchandising Manager / Web Trading Manager will be responsible for:
*Top-line category revenue and P&L contribution, ensuring delivery of defined growth targets
*Working with reporting and planning team to conduct on-going analysis and development of category KPIs
*Commercial management of category range, including product maintenance, pricing and merchandising
*Using data sources to understand customer segments and respond to trends
*Conducting and responding to regular competitor analysis
*Identifying key suppliers and building collaborative relationships, both internally and externally
*Working with suppliers to maximise performance of category range and key IP, as well as developing and expanding content ranges
*Working with the Planning & Merchandising team to develop the product release and promotion schedule, optimising the category range to address budget risks and opportunities
*Working with the Marketing team to ensure that category plans are supported through ecommerce channels and external media
The eCommerce Category Manager / Online Merchandising Manager / Web Trading Manager will:
*Come from an eCommerce environment, ideally in a category management/ merchandiser role
*Have experience of using reports to make commercial decisions
*Possess excellent team working skills and ability to influence others
*Have a strong entrepreneurial nature and be able to build collaborative relationships with other departments
*Be able to demonstrate a record of results driven category management, marketing and merchandising skills
*Be in charge of a small team, so man management skills are a must
