Web Designer / UX designer required for a well known and market leading .com. The Web Designer / Web Master will be behind the usability, design and development of new web features and platform functions. The Web Designer / UX Designer will be taking projects through the whole cycle from concept and brief through the production and completion and working on a new company site as well as the main company site. The Web Designer / UX Designer will also be responsible for the design of email collateral which will be used during the ongoing marketing campaigns.
The Web Designer / UX Designer will work closely with the product managers, development team and external stakeholders to complete usable and consumer friendly web templates. The Web Designer / UX designer will be creative and user focused, developing HTML and flash based solutions, the Web Designer / UX designer will create eye-catching, customer focused and targeted emails.
The Web Designer / UX designer will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce sector and be proficient using Adobe, Quark and knowledge of other widely used design packages. The Web Designer / UX designer will be using web technologies such as Dreamweaver, CSS and Flash. The successful candidate must have strong graphical skills and be aware of trends within the retail and e-commerce sector. The Web Designer / UX designer will be a strong communicator and work well within a small specialist team as well as a large consumer facing organisation.
