A Marketing Manager / Marketing Executive / Marketing Acquisitions Manager is required by a leading business information provider and publisher.
The Marketing Manager / Marketing Executive / Marketing Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of subscription areas, strategy and the free trial process within the client's education division.
The Marketing Manager / Marketing Executive / Marketing Acquisitions Manager will:
-Create and control 3 month marketing plans for individual support services and monitor the process
-Be responsible for Direct Mail marketing campaigns and Digital with a view to assisting the process to fully embrace Digital over time.
-Oversee leads conversion rates on the trial process, and brief and prepare the sales teams on strategy, gaining feedback on the results throughout
-Write up-to-date, informative and timely marketing copy and email campaigns in a fast moving industry
-Work successfully over 5 different verticals, keeping abreast of industry updates and news
-Liaise closely with the team and colleagues working on complimentary verticals
-Generate and qualify user leads and maintain databases, prior to, during and after the sales process.
-Maintain the target ROI on activity.
-Provide cost-effective marketing efforts and update existing data lists that have been created in-house.
Candidates will analyse all marketing efforts for each support service area and evaluate this data to develop future marketing activities. Regular reporting of website analytics and testing of the subscriber journey to increase trials and new orders is also a key element of the role.
The Marketing Manager / Marketing Executive / Marketing Acquisitions Manager role would suit candidates who are looking for a marketing position that offers ownership, learning opportunities as part of a fast moving environment and supportive culture. Other requirements are:
-Digital experience as well as Direct Marketing experience
-First class communication skills to work with internal teams and external partners
-Must be able to demonstrate understanding of ROI and measuring success
-Strong numeracy and literacy to check and write copy for campaigns and analyse data.
-Experience in a Subscriptions environment and/or knowledge of the education sector, is an advantage.
-A hunger to learn - must be a self-starter!
