Marketing Campaign Executive / Marketing Events Coordinator / Conference Marketing Manager needed by leading business information provider and publisher.

The Marketing Campaign Executive / Marketing Events Coordinator / Conference Marketing Manager will be responsible for Conference Marketing (including Post Conference Marketing and Budgeting), List Management, Marketing Analysis, Internal and External Marketing Relationship Management as well as ad hoc marketing activities.

The Marketing Campaign Executive / Marketing Events Coordinator / Conference Marketing Manager will:

  • Create individual marketing plans for individual events and update them as orders are received
  • Be responsible for Direct Mail marketing campaigns
  • Arrange all marketing efforts with internal and external contacts as necessary
  • Proof marketing copy before it is used
  • Set deadlines for Conference Producers to deliver agreed efforts
  • Arrange all marketing efforts with internal and external contacts as necessary

Other responsibilities include, mining data lists from external databases for direct mail campaigns and extracting internal delegate and subscriber lists for use in marketing efforts. The Marketing Executive / Marketing Events Coordinator / Conference Marketing will also segment data to provide better targeting and more cost-effective marketing efforts and update existing data lists that have been created in-house. Candidates will analyse all marketing efforts, via all channels used, for each conference and evaluate this data to develop future marketing activities to ensure ROIs are maintained.

The Marketing Campaign Executive / Marketing Events Coordinator / Conference Marketing Manager role would suit candidates who are looking for a marketing position that offers ownership, learning opportunities and scope to have a big impact on profitability. Other requirements are:

  • First class communication skills to work with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong numeracy and literacy to check and write copy for campaigns and analyse data
  • Experience in an Publishing environment across any product category, is an advantage

Candidates must be highly confident in dealing with internal and external personnel. The job is challenging and will need both strong communication and organisational skills. Candidates will work in an environment where their ideas will be at the forefront of the department and the candidate’s marketing skills will be developed on wide scale.
