Online Content Manager / eCommerce Content Editor (12 Month Contract)
Online Content Manager / eCommerce Content Editor is required for a multi channel retail organisation with over five hundred employees in their UK head office and a turnover in excess of £2 Billion to work alongside the Head of Content.
The Online Content Manager / eCommerce Content Editor will work on a large eCommerce change management programme, including a full redesign and development of the transactional platform. Working out of the new head offices in Hertfordshire (25 minutes from Kings Cross) you will be responsible for the management of all website content.
The Online Content Manager / eCommerce Content Editor will work with various stakeholders in the business to produce content plans for categories on the website; you will have a strong working relationship with copywriters and suppliers to ensure all product information is up to date and relevant; the Online Content Manager / eCommerce Content Editor will ensure that clear briefs are delivered to the design teams and that content is correct.
The ideal candidate will have worked on a transactional platform, preferably within the retail sector and within a large team; you will have strong project management experience and be used to working to tight deadlines; knowledge of Photoshop and CMS systems would be an advantage but not essential; you will have an excellent ability to see how customers shop online and how best to use this information to make positive changes to the website.
