London, £65 – 75k, 15% bonus, Benefits

The Business Development Manager / Partner Manager / Channel Development Manager (Online Payment Service Provider (PSP)) role involves building partnerships with technology providers / organisations within specific verticals and directing sales teams in Dublin to maximize the adoption, use and preference for their payment services.

The Business Development Manager / Partner Manager / Channel Development Manager (Online Payment Service Provider (PSP)) will:

  • Develop new Verticals and build on initial work already in progress
  • manage the sales process to fit with the business model
  • pilot new payment processes and find solutions to the sector’s payment needs
  • drive sales campaigns
  • negotiate on revenue share and acceleration programmes
  • identify new partnerships and platforms to progress in these sectors
  • become the expert and the go to person for all issues that involve these New Verticals
  • own the relationships with all existing and new partners and be accountable for performance
  • work with the UK Sales, marketing, Telesales and Product teams to achieve the financial  targets through a combination of:
    • Building and executing on a strategy as to how to better leverage Partnerships to gain greater market share and understand the true size of the opportunities.
    • Managing and driving growth in new customer acquisition across all channels and sales teams (website, telesales and partnerships).
    • Provide reporting on progress in these Verticals
    • Work with marketing to develop campaigns to help drive acquisition.
    • Identify and win partnership opportunities and strategic alliances.
    • Work with Product to develop improvements to current service offerings to better fit with the needs of these new verticals.

Candidates for the Business Development Manager / Partner Manager / Channel Development Manager (Online Payment Service Provider (PSP)) role must have previous experience of business development within the payment space (online payment processing, credit card merchant accounts, payment gateways, and the online merchant or “e-tail” space is preferred).  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how payments strategically impact a company’s online business model; they will be able to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally; they will have a strong desire to succeed, and to continually develop their personal and professional skills
